This was our first cruise with NCL we have cruised before on P&O, Royal caribbean, Celebrity and Cunard. When we booked Pride of America we were aware it was a CASUAL cruise not a traditional cruise and we loved it. We stayed at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach Wikkiki prior to our cruise which was a great start to our holiday. We then transferred to the Pride of America by an easy shuttle service to a very good embarkation with a traditional hawaiian greeting flowers, beads and music. We had a starboard standard balcony cabin which was only a little smaller than other cruises our cabin steward was Ronald who did a great job with a relaxed service .

At breakfast and lunch we dined at the Aloha self service resteraunt where we dined at the back of the ship and sometimes outside over looking the beautiful views, we dined in the main free dining rooms in the evening , the food in all the dining venues was very good , The service all over the ship was very good very casual not over the top ,but friendly .we enjoyed the ship amenities the gym the pool at the back of the ship . We enjoyed the fabba abba dance night the white hot dance party and all the other bars with a little entertainment. All Of the big shows were very good especially Aloha Polynesia ,Oh what a night which was a brilliant jersey boys comedy musical show , we have seen the Jersey boys on Broadway in New York and these guys on pride of America are just as good. The ship its self is not brand new , needs a tidy up in places .The islands we visited are amazing...Oahu...Honolulu, took an excursion to a beautiful thoughtful trip to Pearl Harbour.

Maui...great Beach excursion to Wailia beach on the other side of the island , wonderful location .
