This was our second Windstar cruise and it did not disappoint. We had made reservations well in advance and noticed that the price was significantly discounted afterwards. After working with our travel agent, the company came through for us and gave us a refund and cabin credit for the difference. Very classy.

We sailed from Athens to Istanbul with our 2 teenage daughters. They were concerned that they were going to be the youngest guests, but it turned out there were several families with teenagers and college aged kids traveling. We crashed at 10pm but they stayed up with their new buddies so everyone was happy.

We are a family more interested in the history/archeology/architecture so for us this itinerary was perfect. The food and service were fantastic. Of course the cabins are small and won't have a balcony like bigger ships, but thats the point; you are in a 'yacht' and there are great public spaces to hang out in. We generally made our own plans at the ports of call and there really is no hard sell to go with the packaged tours, but the people that used them were quite happy. We had a dinner on deck that was absolutely magical.
