Cabin: Veranda Superior
The Viking River Cruise from Amsterdam to Basel (Rhine Getaway) was a wonderful trip. The ship is beautiful, well kept, the food was excellent and the staff was superb. We enjoyed each port and the excursions that Viking provided were excellent.
Our Veranda room was more than adequate in size and the balcony was spacious. We had more than enough room to unpack everything and the bathroom was pretty roomy for a cruise ship. We never felt crowded in our own room.
The public spaces on the ship were very well kept, clean and comfortable. There is a large lounge with a piano player/singer every night. The staff even entertained us a couple of times. Our ship had 187 cruisers on board but we never felt crowded .

Cabin was room with enough space to unpack and move around. Veranda was nice to be able to walk out on and watch the scenery go by.
