We chose this cruise as being first time cruisers, we wanted to choose a simple itinerary and a ship on which we would not feel daunted.

We flew from Gatwick to Corfu and collected luggage and were directed by the Thomson reps to a queue where we had to wait for our transfer coach. The airport was busy as 2 or 3 flights had landed at a similar time but the wait wasn't too bad.

One on the coach we were handed our ID passes and some initial information, together with luggage labels for our return flight. We were taken to the port where a smooth process followed and could either walk or take the transfer bus to the ship. We chose to walk as it was only 3 or 4 minutes and it gave you time to appreciate the ship as you approached. Our luggage was delivered to our cabin separately. Read more
