We just returned from a Uniworld 'Castles along the Rhine' River Cruise from Amsterdam to Basel. It was simply wonderful......everything from the ship to the excursions to the attentive staff made it a memorable trip! The SS Antoinette is a beautiful ship & the rooms are spacious. Your suitcases fit under the bed to leave adequate living space. We really were not even in our room that much. The views from the upper deck were breathtaking & the lounge was a favorite meeting place to relax & have a drink. The Uniworld staff took care of everything, every day there were multiple excursions to choose from depending on your level of fitness. In fact the hardest choice you will have is whether to have red or white wine with your dinner! Because it is a smaller ship the staff gets to know the passengers & I felt they went over & above to be helpful and provide service. The food was outstanding, every night there was many choices to pick from. Wines were pared from the local regions we were passing through. Everything was included when we booked including the tips. This is a great feature, it didn't feel like everyone had their hand out expecting a tip. All in all I would highly recommend Uniworld and this River Cruise, it was a perfect vacation!
