Pros: We had a great experience in Galveston. Embarkation was easy. We loved our ports in Roatan and Costa Maya -- two of the best ports/excursion experiences I've had in my six cruises.

Cons: The food. I have never had bad cruise ship food. This was just bad. Things that looked good, tasted bland...or worse. This was the case in the buffet cafe (Windjammer) and also the Main Dining Room. We dined at all of the specialty restaurants and were again disappointed. They were definitely better than the dining room, but still not much to write home about. We did enjoy Sabor, but Chops and Giovanni's Table were lacking. I took my children to get cupcakes at the bakery and they said they tasted like eating butter and wouldn't eat them! It's pretty bad when you can't get a 6 and 9-year-old to eat cupcakes!

The staff seemed sad, overworked, and uninterested. We're used to Disney and Carnival staff which both are excited and give you top-notch service. The morale was low.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

We had a Junior Suite on the back of the ship with a spacious balcony and great view. It was spacious, had a tub and shower, and a walk-in closet. Nice!
