Chose Oasis of the Seas for largest ship and activities for family time and close port location. Embarkation was easy. Arrived after 10 a.m. but lines of traffic were backed up due to pick-up lines crossing with drop-off lines. Ship was huge and many activities as expected. She did not show her age badly. No dirt or smells or rust. We had deck 11 ocean balcony for 3. Tight but manageable. Dining was a nightmare. Made My-Time reservations for every night at 6:00 p.m. as we had two small children in group of 9. Dining room said we did not have reservations. I printed them out but left the papers at home. We had to argue most nights to get a table. CATs was horrible. Beetle mania was fantastic group! Female comedian had us laughing off our seats. Piano player girl named Jake was fantastic. Dancing and music in Dazzles was great with Musik Express. Roy in Globe & Atlas did a fantastic Neil Diamond. Water show had athletics and high dives were frightening but show lacked something. Missed ice show. Shore excursions were terrible, went western and purchased while it was eastern before hurricanes. Drinks were odd. Some were ok but most drinks were made sloppy and tasteless. Drink beer. I will not take Oasis again. I am odd. I miss the quiet places other ships like Mariner, Voyager, Navigator, Explorer, Freedom had like deck 5 chaise and adult pool area with a deep pool and swim up stools. Oasis had the Solarium but the pools were 3 ft deep and the chairs were not padded and it was muggy hot with the cover over the top and not enough seating. I did enjoy the zip line and ice cream cones but missed the wonderful cookies and cakes and pies on Freedom.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D3

Little smaller than before but fine for 3 of us. Bed was very uncomfortable, couch had stains so we covered it with towels to sit on. Balcony was great. Opened connection to cabin next door. Kept clean and plenty of towels. Washcloths were thin and harsh on the skin.
