Sail Date: Feb 2018
Cabin: Oceanview (obstructed view)

We chose this cruise because it is convenient to fly to LAX and catch a ride to the ship and vice versa. it gives us a chance to escape the cold, wet winter in Seattle and get some sun. This is the third time we have taken this cruise, each time on a different ship (Golden and Sapphire before taking the Ruby).

Embarkation at San Pedro was excellent, no complaints at all. We arrived at 11, had our key cards by 11:15 and were allowed on board at noon.

The cabins are quite small as compared to other cruise lines and ships. The bathrooms are especially small. They are well organized and efficient.

Cabin Review

Oceanview (obstructed view)

Cabin OV

Our cabin was a great selection, It is rated as obstructed view, but you can see right over the lifeboat. It is only partially obstructed, so this is a bargain. The room is smaller than other cruise lines and the bathroom especially so. It is, however, very efficiently laid out and the window is very accessible.
