We are regular Royal Caribbean cruisers (16 cruises). Well let's say we were. Royal Caribbean has decided it wants to compete with the Disney ships. There were over 350 kids on the ship. Surprise! Also, they do not enforce their own rules on dress code in the dining room, Diamond member requirements to attend private functions, and more. They used to care, now they don’t.. People are wearing shorts to dinner in the dining room, kids are running around and yelling in the dining room. It's ridiculous and ruins the cruise experience.

Onboard credits are not applied to the bill without customer follow up to get them applied. $100 towel charges were put on our bill, and many other guests bills. Getting told they put them on everyone's bill, so you have to go to the purser's desk and get shuffled off to a pool towel adjustment area to have it taken off the bill.

The lack of good service is now the norm. Cold food at dinner. We were asked at booking if we were celebrating something. I told them my husband's birthday and our 43rd anniversary. And my sister and her husband told them it was her birthday. Previously, they would give you cake and sing. They did do that for others. That didn't happen for us. I addressed it with the Crown and Anchor rep. No "sorry" no "we'll make it right”. Nothing. But we did get "Thanks for your comments and have a nice day". We are now thinking we will probably stop cruising or go to Celebrity(even though they are part of Royal). Many guests were overheard complaining about many of the same issues. We hear that Celebrity doesnt cater to children and are more upscale...more like what RC used to be, but is no longer. What a shame!

We now try to get Promenade rooms. A little larger and large window view of promenade. A bit noisy some nights.
