The Golden Princess sure fits her name. We had a lovingly cruise. The crew was helpful, positive and worked hard to please. There was good communication between the cruise director/captain and passengers. The food was excellent. The shore excursions were well planned. The Alaskan Scenery was so overwhelming from our balcony. The glaciers were the highlight of the cruise and the captain got us as close as safety allowed.

Our stateroom was full of all the amenities of a plush hotel. I was surprised the shower was so nice. Our stateroom steward seemed to always be handy to help and give information about the ship, especially when he found out it was our first cruise. I noticed how well the ship was maintained. At every port, maintenance crews were out washing and painting. I compared our ship to others docked and I noticed how much better the Golden Princess was maintained. I used one of their fitness trainers who gave me some very good personal instruction. We will go cruising again because of our excellent experience
