Thought we would give MSC a try because of the itinerary from Venice with ports in Greece. Would not recommend if you only speak English. This cruiseline caters to European guests. We pre-booked 5 day excursions through MSC in which 3 were cancelled because there were not enough English speaking guests booked. This was a big disappointment. Many tours available for Italian, Spanish, French and German speaking guests. My son tried the teens club but no one spoke English. Entertainment shows at night some in Italian or French. Other evenings in English. Same type of show each night with same entertainers 2 singers, a few dancers, juggler and acrobats. Don’t expect Broadway type entertainment. We stayed in a balcony suite 10065 which was very spacious with a great walk in closet. One of the better cabins we’ve stayed in. Buffet was crazy. Too small and not enough seating. It was like fighting a crowd at breakfast who hadn’t eaten in a week. We avoided the buffet after the first day and got room service for breakfast. The day excursions we went on were great and getting onboard and off went smoothly. Best meals were dinner in the dining room. Wait staff were great very friendly. Cabin Stewart was great the room was always spotless and clean. It was just an ok cruise. I wouldn’t recommend it and we won’t sail on MSC again. We will go back to sailing with Norwegian and Princess. Best cruise for our family was Norwegian Epic Mediterranean cruise last August. Fantastic ship, lots for the kids including water slides, buffet was awesome, lots of activities, large casino, fabulous staff and excellent customer service.

Cabin S2

Great cabin design very spacious. Had tub with shower and a walk in closet. Lots of storage space. Only 2 English channels on tv. View from balcony was great when having your morning coffee.
