Here's some quick thoughts and ideas if you're looking to book the Norwegian Fjord cruise on Celebrity (Silhouette). By the way, we learned all cruises to the Fjords STOP in 2025, so do it while you can.

I traveled as a first time cruiser with my mom (65) and Aunt (60 something). I'm an active 37 yr old...and 18 months pregnant, for context.

Cabin: review is below.

Rooms and Embarkation: Embarkation was super smooth and we checked into our concierge room (balcony, 9th floor). Concierge status--I could take it or leave it, but the balcony is a must in my opinion. With that status comes early disembarking for ports (but that's moot if you do excursions, which will have a prescribed meeting time to deboard), some fancy appetizers that never arrive when you're in the room, and "invites" to exclusive events I wasn't interested in anyways. Room was spacious, we had a sofa bed for my aunt and didn't feel very too crowded, surprisingly. Pro tip: you can use the shower and sauna at the spa if you're many to a room and don't think everyone will be showered in time. Housekeeping services were on point.
