New destinations were the main attraction. The ship is beautifully appointed and spacious. The live shows were excellent but you need to get seated an hour before the show if you want a prime seat. The food started out quite interest but faded to average by week two and many dishes were reserved with a different name. Many of the staff appeared to be new and not really well trained .. this led to a lot of misinformation and confusion for the passengers. Many passengers stated that they had cruised with princess Cruises on several occasions and enjoyed their cruise, however, this particular cruise was the worst experience for cruising that they had encountered. Hopefully, this was just a " one off" for the lovely Majestic Princess and the staff will pick up their game with experience.
The shore excursions ( booked through Princess Cruises ) prior to leaving Australia, were well worth while and interesting.
Plenty of room. Great hanging and storage space.
Quite usable balcony.
