We chose this cruise because of the price for the balcony room that we were able to secure and the ports. This is a very port intensive cruise and i wouldn't recommend this cruise just to stay on ship at ports. Believe it or not we met several people that did not get off ship at ports. First of all the ship is very nice clean and the staff was all very friendly and helpful. I did not encounter anyone that was not. The activities were plenty however bingo, deal or no deal etc were all at least a $20 to play fee. The spa was nice but expensive. i did reflexology but only because i received a $50 spa voucher. If you are super nice and talkative and tip your stateroom attendant you will likely get this or more. The food was good, I wouldn't say amazing but you have to remember they are cooking for 4000 people! We only did the Cirque Dream Tent specialty dinner its like a magic / Cirque de soleil show with dinner. We were told by a couple who was on this same cruise for the 2nd time not to waste your $ on any of the other specialty restaurants the main dining had pretty much the same items. Taste was great for breakfast and for dinner the Lobster ravioli was amazing! We did eat at Manhattan Room which is main dining but does require pants and no shorts or flip flops for men. We did not book any tours through Norwegian i had read that its 40% more to book through them and we did not have any issues whatsoever. First Port was Naples we used italytours.eu for the tour of Pompeii, Sorrento Positano& Almafi Coast. They were great and did not disappoint. We had Salvatore as the driver and Sabina as the guide at Pompeii. We were able to make good time and stop at the Limoncello factory in Meta (near Sorrento) and were given 3 different samples. Not our favorite liquor but it was good to sample. The 2nd port was Civitivecchia which was an hr or so from Rome. We had been to Rome before so we did not do a tour this time but Id highly recommend booking with City of Wonders our friends used them at this stop and we used them last year. We took the train from Civitivecchia into Rome getting of at San Pietro Stazion near St. Peters Basilica. If you purchase the BGR train ticket you can ride all public transportation all day while you are there. We actually scheduled a driver to take us back to port so we didn't have to worry about the train being on time and it gave us a little more time on the ground in Rome. we booked driver through takemeitaly.com it was 144 euros for 6-7 people. they picked us up at the Spanish steps at the 5:00 and we were on ship before 630. The next port was Livorno- near florence and pisa. We used italytours.eu for this stop as well. it was a good tour but we felt rushed. we went to Pisa first and we would have rather gone to Florence first had more time there then went to PISA...not much in Pisa except tower. we have over an hr there and really didn't need that. so if you book this tell them you want to go to Florence first. Cannes was the 4th stop and we absolutist loved this one. We use SmartRiveria https://smartour-riviera.com/en/cruise-deals/ we did tour CS5. Our guide/driver was Ibitassame(Smiley) and she was wonderful. It was somewhat of a self guided tour when at stops she would let us off to wonder around and meet back at a certain time. when we were driving she talked about the area giving us lots of details. They were having a yacht festival and there were yachts everywhere. unbelievable the size of some of these boats. Cannes, Nice, Eze, Monoco and Monte Carlo were amazing. we fell in love with the French Riviera. The last stop was Palma de Mallorca. the tour we had booked fell through but we ended up renting a car just outside port for $75 for the day. This was really a great option however i found out if you book a car in advance with https://www.arashrentacar.com/ they will actually deliver a car to the port and you drop it back at port so no going to pick up car! they can be half the price too. there are many beaches to visit on a sunny day. it was raining all day we were there but we drove up into Soller, drove through Deia, and then into Valldemossa. The area is stunning and i imagine on a pretty day it would be even more beautiful. The tours were around $75 per person so id recommend renting a car, its a small island and you aren't time restricted by the tour. Hope all this helps please feel free to contact if you have any questions about the cruise. stephaniebraggs at gmail dot com

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BB

The cabin was great no complaints. I got glimpses of the inside state rooms and they looked nice as well.
