We had taken an Alaska cruise on Grand Princess in June and had so much fun, we decided to do it again in September. We luckily got the same suite as the June cruise. We had the same wait staff in club class dining.
Getting on the ship was a snap, just like in June. We were able to go to our suite right away.
We had fantastic meals with the same wait staff as our June cruise. Believe it or not, our waiter Royston remembered our drink preferences at dinner.
Excellent layout for my husband who is diabled. We rented a scooter while on the ship and the room was big enough to park the scooter in at night to charge.
The bed was so very comfortable. The linens and covers were fresh everynight. There were a variety of pillows to choose from so we were both able to find the exact comfort to sleep with each night.
The room had an enormous balcony and even though we were on a cruise to Alaska, we used the balcony quite a bit for wildlife watching.
We decided to just explore the town this trip. The cruise that we took in June we took an excursion on a small bus over the White Pass into Canada. That was excellent.
Being on the ship on the Bay was probably the most beautiful part of the trip.
This cruise we decided to tour the city on our own and used a pedicab which is located at the end of the dock from the ship. We were able to park our electric scooter in the customs/immagration terminal and went for a two hour pedicab ride through downtown. The driver was local, of course, and knew the best coffee shops to go to. Excellent.
