I sailed on the Majesty of the Seas in December 2018 on the 5 Day Havana Overnight Cruise - and what a disappointment it was. I was so excited about my trip which ended up to be a cruise of sailing up and down the coast of the Florida - so glad a paid for that. While I realize that weather is not anyone's fault but and the safety of the passengers and crew are important, and a change was needed but don't not compensate for getting what you paid for. I paid for two days in Havana and didn't even get one and then just sailed up and down the coast of Florida. I could have booked a beach vacation if that is what I wanted. I could go on and on about the mess this cruise was - I booked an excursion in Havana that was supposed to 9 hours and was only about 8 hours with no explanation as to why. In addition to this there were so many other issues - we left the Port late by about 2 1/2 hrs, with no explanation, and when I reached out to Royal Caribbean about all the issues I find out it was due to the fact that they were loading water onto the ship - don't you think this should be done prior. Not to mention that the rooms on on the small side, we were only two people and were tight in there ( only one person was able to get dressed at a time) I can only imagine if there were more than two people in the room. The ports of call were Key West and Havana and yet we spent most of the time at sea - while sea days are nice on cruises to such close locations all the time at sea is not necessary, While stuck on the ship sailing up and down the coast of Florida, the stench on some the decks was absolutely discussing and with no explanation as to why. In addition some of the lower decks were flooding - which probably caused the stench.

The only positive was the crew on the ship ( wait staff, cruise director and entertainment staff) were nice as could be and tried their best.. Even with this the Headliner shows were not the best - two comedians who were not even funny, one was even outright rude and disgusting and one who would not have been funny had it not been for the passenger that was chosen to help out with his act.

After all this when I reached out to Royal Caribbean it took almost 2 weeks for someone to get back to me and then they were nasty as anything, Should I ever go on another cruise I will think twice before sailing with Royal Caribbean,
