I was given the cruise as a gift - my favorite place to visit is New York, his is San Juan so we got the best of both. Viking is a more laid-back cruise line, so I loved going to dinner whenever we wanted, the choice to sit by ourselves or join others and not dressing up every night. The rooms are very spacious, beds are wonderfully comfortable, shower has room to move around, and the verandas are semi-private. The entertainment was very good - length of shows was about 45 minutes which was perfect. The service is unbeatable! We never had to ask for anything - our favorite waitress (Nadia) was always around to get us a drink, our cabin was always clean when we came back to it. The included shore excursions were interesting - we only signed up for one that was not included, but it was cancelled because it did not meet the minimum number of people (so we did it on our own). I did miss a sports bar to watch football and the baseball playoffs, but could follow the scores on my ipad. Our flight was one of the last ones out (4:45), so we didn't leave the ship until around 10:00. They had set up a hospitality room for us to wait at a hotel across from the pier with food and beverages. Love this cruise line and we are deciding on our next voyage with Viking!

Cabin Review

Very clean, comfortable king beds, extras in the room that we didn't need to bring (binoculars, etc), nice shower-larger than most cruise lines!
