We had never cruised because the thought of a floating city with 1000s of people sounded like a nightmare. We liked the idea of a smaller ship and the longer times on shore really appealed to us. We also liked the ports of call.
We were pleased beyond our wildest expectations! From our cabin steward to the captain, including the hotel director, Cruise director and Assistant cruise director, the singer/dancers, the amazing gentlemen who ensured we always had a cappuccino or coke zero in hand, every single person greeted us with big smiles, kind words and excellent service. The food was heavenly. I dont metabolize sugar well, so I was thrilled to find no sugar added treats at every meal. Cheesecake. Cookies. Cream-filled pastries. Fruit-topped custards. And, of course, gelato.
We originally thought we would skip the onboard entertainment. I'm so glad we didn't! The music and dancing were lively and very well done. The entertainers seemed to love what they were doing.

We had lots of storage space and a great view. It was small, but we expected that.
Glad we took: magnetic hooks, multi-outlet phone/tablet charger, magnets for shower curtain, several sizes zip-loc bags
Didn't use: hanging pocket shoe holder, white board, travel coffee cup
Taking next time: narrow reusable plastic containers (refrigerator is not deep, zip-loc bags don't hold extra pastries well), a good extension cord for my CPAP
We arrived 5 days prior to embarkation to meet family for vacation. Having been to Venice before we chose to do our own thing.
Korcula is easily walkable. We enjoyed strolling past the old towers and seeing where they claim Marco Polo was born.
The main gate to the old town was within view of where the ship was docked. Unfortunately the small area was inundated with tour groups, making it difficult to get through the narrow alleyways. I wish I could go back when it is not so busy.
We had to wait for a while, but the Hop On Hop Off bus finally arrived and we had an excellent tour.
