The ship was clean and in wonderful condition. The staff was friendly and professional. The cabin was nice. Clean and well maintained. Our cabin stuart was wonderful. There are three dining rooms on the ship. The main dining room where the food is served cafeteria style. The food was good, the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The speciality italian restaurant where the restaurant was clean, the staff were okay and the food was mediocre. The Asian restaurant ws clean, the staff was okay and the food was not edible. At least to us. All the restaurants change their menus every couple of days with no warning, so if you hear about something really good, you probably missed it., The entertainment was good when there was a show. There was not a show every night. The port talks were good and interesting. We visited a port every day and had a free tour. The tours were good and interesting. Viking assumes your are going to entertain yourself. Which is not all bad. The are no planned activities onboard. Embarkation and disembarkation were a breeze. Fast and smooth. We are undecided if we will take another Viking cruise. We want to try the river cruise to see the difference.
