We viewed various cruise itineraries and this had the best ports of call in our opinion. We were also recommended to Emerald by friends who had sailed with them before. We felt it offered good value for money for everything included. The quality of the food was excellent and we had an extremely good cruise director (Darren Collins). All the staff were very friendly and efficient. We enjoyed all the ports of call and the tour guides were very professional and were very knowledgeable. We could not fault the service from arriving to leaving the ship. We would recommend this cruise to others. very nice to be at a different place each day. We made great friends with some of our fellow passengers and we are sure we will see some of them again. We will definitely be doing river cruises again at some time in the very near future.
