We have cruised with Celebrity once before on the Equinox and absolutely loved it. This time we brought along our brother and sister-in-law. They are hooked now as well. We love this ship, it's never too crowded, always very clean, the veranda cabins are spacious enough for the two of us. The beds never bother our backs (which is saying something because most hotels do).
The main entertainment is always great, a good variety of singers, stage shows, comedians, and magicians. All excellent. Even the rest of the entertainment is not to be missed. The activities are fun, we always enjoy the trivia games.
The service is wonderful. Ask for almost anything, they will make it happen. Our cabin steward (#7222 - Wayan) was there several times a day and usually greeted us when returning to the cabin asking if we need anything. The hostess (Victoriia) and wait staff (Anam & Andrej) in the dining room were great, our waiter even got us a dessert that was not on the menu that night as we missed it the night before when dining in the Tuscan Grill. The dining is OUT OF THIS WORLD. We never had a meal we didn't like. The Tuscan Grill has delectable food as well. Their steak is mouth watering and you can cut it with your spoon.
Spacious enough for two. Great view off the balcony. Our cabin steward, Wayan was wonderful! Closer to the elevators near the theater than the food.
Flew in the day before and Stayed at the Best Western Oceanside Inn on Seabreeze Blvd. It was a nice hotel, a bit dated. But if we were to go again I would book something a bit further north on Seabreeze Blvd as it was about a 15 walk North to restaurants, CVS, etc from our hotel. We ate at Bo's Beach on Seabreeze. I would recommend, great scenery, wonderful food (had the coconut shrimp - yum), and friendly service.
